 FREE MONEY FOR ST. JOE'S!

Church EventsNew Recycling Program Hits the Streets, Promoting Environmental Awareness and Funds for Youth Programs Youth Programs are always looking for ways to raise funds in order to continuously elevate their level of programming. What better way than with a paper recycling program? The youth and parishioners at St. Joseph Parish have teamed up with Abitibi-Consolidated Recycling Division to bring you an exciting program called the Abitibi Paper Retriever Program. Starting today, anyone in the community can go to St. Joseph and easily be a part of this unique recycling program spearheaded by Abitibi Recycling Corporation, with sponsorship by some of our local media. Located in the parking lot of St. Joseph Parish, at 342 Dorseyville Road in O’Hara Township, the Abitibi Paper Retriever bin will be available 24 hours a day. Paper suitable for recycling through the Abitibi Paper Retriever program includes all CLEAN and DRY: MAIL NEWSPAPERS MAGAZINES SHOPPING CATALOGS OFFICE & SCHOOL PAPERS TEXT BOOKS (please remove hard back covers) On a regularly scheduled basis, Abitibi-Consolidated Recycling Division will empty the Abitibi Paper Retriever, and after collecting the minimum amount of paper per month, St. Joseph’s will earn revenue from the contents of the Paper Retriever. The paper will then be taken to Abitibi-Consolidated’s de-inking facilities in the United States, where it will be turned into marketable paper products such as newsprint. Everyone in the community is encouraged to participate in this innovative program to recycle paper products. Local involvement can help save landfill space, clean up the environment, and earn money for their neighborhood Youth Ministry Programs by taking paper to the new Paper Retriever in our lot! Won’t you join me in earning money for our youth?
